Thank you for the LOVE!
Wow, what a response I have received to our story airing on the news tonight.  Talk about just the boost of positivity I needed to get me through this upcoming week.  We leave our house tomorrow morning to get Owen admitted to Children's at 10am.  I am just about done packing.  Owen's suitcase is filled with button up pjs, all his super hero costumes and his favorite slippers.  We also have a LARGE box of busy bags and gifts that were so generously given to us by family and friends.  I want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone that helped fill this box.  There are so many great toys and treats that will help pass the time and keep Owen entertained.  Everyone was so thoughtful and generous.  Owen hasn't seen any of the stuff yet and will be so excited to see this huge box of stuff all for him!
In case you missed our story on the new, here is the link.
Thank you so much to channel 4 for contacting us and sharing our story.  Hope to have positive updates on me and Owen to report back with very soon!

So it was a busy day today.  Between getting the house ready for the news to come, being interviewed and then getting everything packed and prepped for the week I am TIRED.   I need to call my doctor tomorrow too, my 6:30pm mild shakes are starting like 30 minutes earlier each night so by 6pm I feel shaky and weak and I just feel off.  Could just be the stress of this week but I am definitely having a hard time typing and focusing right now.  I HATE not feeling right.  I am not a wimp and don't whine and complain but it sucks when your hand shakes so much it's hard to text and you just feel weird.  Hopefully once we get through this week things will slow down a bit and hopefully that will help.

Both the boys are already sleeping for the night and Jamie just ran to Walgreens to pick up all the medicine that was ready for me and Owen.  He just called to let me know that we can't get any of mine because of our stupid insurance.  Not sure if anyone else has started their new amazing insurance plans, I don't even have the energy to get into that right now but it's NOT running so smoothly.  Froedert was trying to get all the pre authorization done today for my radiation and poor Wendy over there called me FIVE times today.  She was on the phone with our insurance company from 9am to 2pm and finally called to tell me she could not spend her entire day waiting on hold and gave me the list of what she needed I have that on my list to do this week too.  I spent SIX hours, yes SIX hours on the phone with insurance on Friday simply looking for the 3 letters that were supposed to be at the beginning of our policy number.  Frustrating and annoying doesn't even begin to explain how we feel about that whole process.  And now it looks like we will be calling them again tomorrow to get them to cover my meds.  Never a dull moment.
Well I am hopeful that tomorrow will go smoothly and that Owen will tolerate all the wires, leads and IVs.  I know that he will, he always does.  I am kind of looking forward to getting him all to myself for a few days.  Jacob requires a lot of attention some days so it will be nice to have some one on one time with Owen.  I have my laptop all packed up so I will definitely be posting updates while we are there. Again, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU to everyone for all the love, support and encouragement.  We are so lucky to have you all fighting this battle with us!

I have lots of people asking me to post the links of ways to help so here they are again.
Thanks for all the support!
